I am a 23-year-old journalist living in London. I studied Journalism with Creative Writing at Kingston University in South West London, where I graduated in May 2016 with a First-Class Honours degree.
As an employee I'm a very hard worker, I always do my best and I work to succeed and I'm never afraid to speak up.
As a journalist I look at myself as a wordsmith, I thrive to write in a colorful language without using unnecessary words.
I have always looked at myself as a features writer but after gained experience I have realised that I am a confident news writer, who love conducting interviews and in general speaking to interesting people. I always have an idea in the back of my mind.
A good example of my success in the field came when I wrote a feature story about a student who sold her car to buy new breasts for Kingston University's newspaper. The story got a lot of attention from students and several national and local newspaper, such as The Daily Mirror, The Sun and Surrey Comet, picked up the story, as well as international media sites, such as The Malaysian Chronicle, Journal de Montreal and several blogs world wide. I was awarded with Kingston Journalism Oscars for Interviewer of the year for this story and Scoop of the year for a news story about a Kingston drug dealer who would “never send his kids to Kingston University”.
As a person I pay a lot of attention to details. I always have a new obsession whether it is a musician, a food type or looking for treasures in charity shops.
